Internal Linking
Internal linking is how pages on the same site link to each other. It distributes ranking signals, tells search engines which pages matter most, and determines whether pages get discovered at all.
The commonest and costliest error is the orphan page — one nothing links to. It may be excellent and in the sitemap and still get crawled rarely and rank poorly, because nothing signals it matters.
Link text carries meaning. "Click here" tells a search engine nothing; "AI automation pricing" tells it what the destination is about. And links should be earned by relevance rather than sprayed — a page linking to everything signals nothing about anything.

Free to fix, entirely under your control, and usually the reason a page you consider important isn't performing.
