Instagram still renders a public preview of every profile for Google (the og:description meta tag). We read those official counts and run 8 authenticity signals on them. We never log in as anyone, and we don't store Instagram HTML.
Why does it sometimes ask me to paste the numbers manually?+
Instagram blocks certain cloud IPs from reading even the public preview. When that happens we show a small form so you can copy the numbers from their profile — the same analyzer still runs and you still get a verdict.
Is the score 100% accurate?+
