Questions
Is this really free?+
Yes. The score, breakdown, and AI action plan are fully free. We only ask for email + phone if you want the branded PDF — that's how Mana Studio stays in touch.
Do I need to own the business to check it?+
No. The checker reads public Google Business Profile data — rating, review count, photos, website, phone, hours, category. So you can check your business, a competitor, or a client you want to pitch.
Why can't it check my 'posts' or messages?+
Google only exposes posts, direct messages, and booking data to verified owners via an OAuth-gated API. A public tool can't see those. What we can see — photos, reviews, hours, website, category, address — is exactly what drives your Google ranking most, so scoring those gives you the signal that matters.
How is the score calculated?+
0–100 based on 9 public signals: photos (15), review count (20), average rating (15), website (10), phone (10), opening hours (10), primary category (10), address completeness (5), operational status (5). Each signal is scored deterministically — same profile always gets the same score.
The AI got something wrong — can I override it?+
The score is deterministic so it's always right. Only the AI advice can vary — if a suggested fix doesn't apply, ignore it. We re-cache results per business every 7 days, so you can re-run after making changes.
