Should I target Tampa or Tampa Bay?+
The individual cities, in most cases. "Tampa Bay" is how the region is described in the news; it's not what residents type when they need a service. Someone in St. Petersburg searches St. Petersburg, and the bay is a genuine travel barrier — a Tampa business is 30 to 45 minutes away depending on the bridge. Separate pages for the cities you actually serve will outperform one regional page consistently.
How should a Florida business handle hurricane season on its website?+
Practically, and in advance. You want an alert banner you can switch on yourself in under two minutes without calling a developer, a clear way to update hours and closure status, and automated messaging to anyone with a booking. We build that into Florida clients' sites as standard. The mistake is discovering during a storm that only your developer can edit the site and they're not answering.
Is Tampa cheaper to market in than Miami?+
Yes, noticeably. Competition and ad costs are both lower, and the English-language market is far less contested than Miami's. Tampa also has less need for a bilingual strategy than Miami or Orlando — worth considering in some neighbourhoods and categories, but nothing like the strategic necessity it is in Miami-Dade.
We've been here 20 years and are losing ground to newer businesses. What changed?+
Usually the same three things: their site is fast and yours isn't, they have recent review volume and yours stopped in 2021, and their Google Business Profile is fully filled in while yours has the basics. None of that reflects the quality of your actual work, which is what makes it frustrating — but all three are fixable, and often more cheaply than a rebuild. We'd audit before recommending anything.
Are you actually based in Tampa?+
No — and we say so on the page rather than renting a virtual office address to imply otherwise. Our team is in Hyderabad and Warangal, India, and we work with Tampa businesses remotely: video calls, WhatsApp, and a live preview link you can open at any point during the build. What is genuinely local is the work itself — your Google Business Profile, the Tampa search terms we target, the competitors we benchmark you against, and the schema that tells Google exactly which area you serve.
How do I pay you from FL?+
Wire or ACH, Zelle, credit card through Stripe, PayPal or Wise — invoiced in USD, with a proper invoice for your accountant. Payment is milestone-based: 40% to begin, the remainder as you approve deliverables. There is no retainer and no minimum contract on the build work.
What are your hours compared to Tampa?+
India runs 9.5 to 13.5 hours ahead depending on your time zone and the season, which works in your favour more than against it: work happens while you sleep, and you review it in the morning. Calls are scheduled for your evening, which is our morning. Anything urgent gets a WhatsApp reply the same day.
What if the project goes wrong?+
You own the code, the domain, the hosting account and every asset from the first day — not at handover, from the beginning. If you stop working with us, everything is already yours and there is nothing to extract. The price is agreed in writing before work starts. Websites start at $499.
