AI-Powered Mobile App Development for Indians in Canada
For Indian-origin business owners and founders in Canada who want an Android and iOS app built by a team in India, briefed in English, Telugu or Hindi.
Apps from $1,049 · Fixed quote within 2 hours of the meeting · Serving Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Ottawa and Winnipeg — and across Canada
Quick answer
Which Indian company can build an AI-powered mobile app for my business in Canada, and what does it cost?
Mana Studio builds Android and iOS apps for Indian-origin business owners and founders in Canada, from Toronto and Vancouver to Calgary. Each app ships to both stores from one React Native codebase, with optional AI features such as an assistant that answers customers from the business's own price list. An MVP of up to 10 screens starts from $1,049 in US dollars, not Canadian dollars, and typically takes 6–10 weeks. It starts with a free 30-minute meeting in English, Telugu or Hindi, followed by a fixed quotation within 2 hours of the meeting. Mana Studio is a remote team based in Warangal, Telangana, India, with no office in Canada, so every meeting is on video, phone or WhatsApp. The source code, the App Store and Play Store accounts and the cloud accounts belong to the client from the start.

An app built for Hyderabad does not carry over to Canada unchanged. UPI and Razorpay do not apply, the privacy and messaging rules are Canadian, and customers can expect French in some provinces. We write these into the scope before the build starts, so they are not found at store review. None of this is legal or tax advice, and your own lawyer or accountant confirms what applies to your business.
Payments: card payments through a gateway that supports Canadian merchants, such as Stripe, Square or Moneris, with Interac debit where the gateway offers it
Interac e-Transfer is a bank-to-bank transfer, so the app can show how to pay that way where it suits the business
English and French in the same app, with the user choosing the language
Privacy: PIPEDA across Canada, with provincial laws in Quebec, Alberta and British Columbia
Marketing messages built around CASL, Canada's anti-spam law
Receipts that show tax the way your accountant needs it
French, privacy, messaging and tax, in plain terms
French: Quebec's Charter of the French Language, as amended by Bill 96, expects software, apps and websites used in Quebec to be available in French on terms at least as favourable as any other language. If you plan to sell to Quebec customers, we build the app with French strings from day one. Ask your lawyer how the Charter applies to your business.
Privacy: the federal law is PIPEDA, the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act. Quebec (the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector), Alberta (the Personal Information Protection Act) and British Columbia (its own Personal Information Protection Act) have private-sector laws of their own that can apply instead of PIPEDA for activity inside the province. We design what the app collects, where it is stored and how a customer can ask for their data with these in mind.
Messaging: CASL generally expects consent before you send a commercial electronic message, the sender to be identified, and a working unsubscribe. In an app that means a consent step for marketing push, email and SMS, a record of that consent, and an unsubscribe in every message.
Tax: sales tax differs by province. Some provinces charge a combined harmonized tax and others charge the federal GST plus a separate provincial tax, or only the GST. The app's receipts and invoices should show the tax lines, and your accountant sets which apply.
Working across the time difference
Canada is behind India. Toronto is 9 hours 30 minutes behind in daylight time and 10 hours 30 minutes in standard time. Vancouver is 12 hours 30 minutes and 13 hours 30 minutes behind. Calgary and Edmonton are 11 hours 30 minutes and 12 hours 30 minutes behind. A Canadian morning is an Indian evening, so calls and weekly demos are booked at the start of your day.
AI that removes manual work
AI is optional. These are the add-ons that pay for themselves by taking a repeated manual job off someone's desk.
English and French text drafted for review
Today: Product descriptions, notifications and policy pages are translated by hand, or left in English only, and Quebec customers get a weaker experience.
With automation: The app drafts the French version of each new text, a person who reads French approves it, and both languages stay in step.
Receipts split by tax line
Today: A bookkeeper retypes supplier receipts and works out which tax lines apply, province by province.
With automation: The app reads the receipt photo, fills the fields including each tax line, and the bookkeeper only checks and approves.
Enquiries sorted while you sleep
Today: Messages arrive overnight and the owner reads them all in the morning to find the urgent ones.
With automation: The app answers routine questions from your own FAQ, flags anything urgent at the top, and leaves the rest for a person.

Frequently asked questions
Are your prices in Canadian dollars?+
No. Quotes are in US dollars, so the amount you see on this page is not a Canadian dollar figure. An MVP of up to 10 screens starts from $1,049 in US dollars and a full product from $1,999. Your bank converts at its own rate when you pay.
Do you have an office in Canada?+
No. Mana Studio is a remote team based in Warangal, Telangana, India. There is no office in Canada. Meetings are on video, phone or WhatsApp.
Can customers pay with Interac in the app?+
Card payments go through a gateway that supports Canadian merchants, and several of these support Interac debit. Interac e-Transfer works differently, as a bank transfer, so whether the app can take it directly depends on your bank or payment provider. We confirm the options during scoping.
Does the app need to be in French?+
Only if you serve customers in Quebec, where the Charter of the French Language applies to software, apps and websites. We can ship English and French in one app. Your lawyer confirms what your business needs.
Which privacy law will the app follow?+
We build with PIPEDA in mind, and with the Quebec, Alberta and British Columbia private-sector privacy laws where your customers are in those provinces. Your lawyer confirms which applies to you.
Who owns the code and the store accounts?+
You do. The source code, the App Store and Play Store listings and the cloud accounts are registered to you or your company, not to us.
