Quick answer

Which Indian company can build an AI-powered mobile app for my business in Australia, and what does it cost in US dollars?

Mana Studio builds Android and iOS apps for Indian-origin business owners and founders in Australia, from one React Native codebase, with optional AI features such as an assistant that answers customers from your own price list. An MVP of up to 10 screens starts from $1,049 in US dollars, not Australian dollars, and typically takes 6–10 weeks. It starts with a free 30-minute meeting in English, Telugu or Hindi, followed by a fixed quotation within 2 hours of the meeting. Mana Studio is a remote team based in Warangal, Telangana, India, with no office in Australia, so calls are placed around the clock difference. Source code, App Store and Play Store listings and cloud accounts are registered in the client's name. Australian payment methods, privacy law and tax invoices are decided before the build, and your own accountant or lawyer confirms them.

What an Australian app has to get right

An app built for Indian customers uses UPI and Razorpay. In Australia the customer pays by card, by Apple Pay or Google Pay, by bank transfer, or by buy now, pay later. Real-time bank payments run on the New Payments Platform, where a customer can pay to a PayID such as a mobile number, email or ABN. Card and wallet payments, bank debits and Afterpay are available through gateways such as Stripe, and BPAY is a bill-payment option offered through Australian banks. We pick the set that fits how your customers pay, then build it into checkout.

Three Australian laws are worth naming so you know what to ask. The Privacy Act 1988 and its Australian Privacy Principles govern how personal information is collected, stored and used, and the regulator is the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner. Many small businesses below an annual turnover threshold are outside the Act, but there are exceptions, health service providers among them, so ask your lawyer where you stand. The Spam Act 2003 requires consent, clear sender identification and an unsubscribe option for commercial emails and text messages, which shapes how push and message sign-ups are built. And a GST-registered business issues tax invoices that show its ABN and the GST, so the invoice screens carry those fields.

We build the app with these in mind. We do not give legal or tax advice, and your own lawyer or accountant confirms what applies to your business.

  • Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayID and bank-debit options in checkout
  • Buy now, pay later where your customers expect it
  • Consent captured and stored before any marketing message is sent
  • Tax invoices with ABN and GST fields

Working across the clock difference

Sydney and Melbourne are 4 hours 30 minutes ahead of India, or 5 hours 30 minutes while daylight saving is in force. Brisbane is 4 hours 30 minutes ahead all year because Queensland does not observe daylight saving. Perth is 2 hours 30 minutes ahead. In practice an Australian afternoon is an Indian morning, so a call at 2:00 pm in Sydney reaches the team at 9:30 am in Warangal outside daylight saving.

The team works through a weekly demo on a build you install on your own phone, with WhatsApp for quick questions. You see working screens every week instead of waiting for one big handover.

Who this is for, and the proof we can show

Indian-origin owners of restaurants, grocers, clinics, trades, tutoring centres, travel and migration consultancies, and founders with a product idea who want a small team they can brief in their own language and who want to own what is built.

We have no office in Australia and we do not claim Australian app projects. What we can point to is a website and local SEO project for JustFix Automotive, a family-owned mechanic in Sunshine North, Melbourne. That was a website, not an app. It does show we work with Australian owners remotely.

AI that removes manual work

AI is optional. These are the add-ons that pay for themselves by taking a repeated manual job off someone's desk.

Enquiries sorted before anyone reads them

Today: Every message to the business, whether a quote request, a complaint or a booking change, lands in one inbox and someone sorts it by hand each morning.

With automation: The app tags each enquiry by type and routes it to the right person, with the urgent ones first. Staff still reply.

Reminders that reschedule themselves

Today: Staff ring or text customers the day before an appointment and re-book the ones who cannot come.

With automation: The app sends a reminder to customers who opted in, and a reply of a new time offers the free slots. A person confirms anything unusual.

Marketing messages only to people who agreed

Today: Offers go to a mixed contact list copied from several spreadsheets, and nobody is sure who agreed to receive them.

With automation: The app keeps a consent record with each customer and drafts the offer for approval, so it is only sent to people who opted in, with an unsubscribe link in it.

How it works: meeting to launch

  1. Step 1

    Book a meeting

A free 30-minute call or video meeting. Tell us the problem, not the feature list.

  3. Step 3

    Quote within 2 hours

A fixed quotation based on your features and business logic, within 2 hours of the meeting.

  4. Step 4

    Build in stages

You see working screens early, not a big reveal at the end.

  5. Step 5

Frequently asked questions

Are your prices in Australian dollars?

No. Quotes are in US dollars. An MVP of up to 10 screens starts from $1,049 US dollars and a full product from $1,999 US dollars, against a written scope. Your bank or card converts to Australian dollars when you pay by international transfer, card, PayPal or Wise.

Do you have an office in Australia?

No. Mana Studio is a remote team based in Warangal, Telangana, India. Meetings are on video, phone or WhatsApp.

Can you build in PayID, cards and buy now, pay later?

Yes. We choose the gateway with you based on how your customers pay, and card, wallet, PayID-style bank payments and buy now, pay later can sit in the same checkout. Fees are set by the payment provider, so confirm them with the provider you choose.

Does the Privacy Act apply to my business?

It depends on the size and type of the business, and some small businesses are outside it while others, such as health service providers, are not. We name the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles so you can ask your lawyer, and we build the app with them in mind. This is not legal advice.

How do calls work with the time difference?

Australian afternoons are Indian mornings, so most calls fit between lunchtime and late afternoon where you are. Sydney and Melbourne are 4 hours 30 minutes ahead of India, or 5 hours 30 minutes in daylight saving. Brisbane is 4 hours 30 minutes ahead all year, and Perth is 2 hours 30 minutes ahead.

Who owns the code and the store accounts?

You do. The source code, the App Store and Play Store listings and the cloud accounts are registered to you or your company.
