How do I calculate a discount?+
Multiply the price by the discount percent divided by 100 to get the saving, then subtract it from the price. ₹2,000 at 25% off saves ₹500, giving a sale price of ₹1,500.
How do I find the percentage discount from two prices?+
Subtract the sale price from the original, divide by the original, and multiply by 100. From ₹2,000 to ₹1,500 is a 25% discount.
Can I stack two discounts?+
Two successive discounts don't simply add up — a 20% then 10% off is 28% total, not 30%, because the second applies to the already-reduced price.
