Very little of it. Your buyers are engineers and procurement staff anywhere in the country searching for a capability, not a location. What you need is capability content — tolerance ranges, materials, processes, certifications, machine list, the kinds of programmes you've supported — plus fast quote handling. That's a different project from local SEO and it's the one that would actually move revenue for you.
How specific should our capability content be?+
More specific than feels natural. The instinct is to stay general and invite a call; the effect is never appearing in the search that would have generated one. Buyers filter on numbers — tolerances, part envelopes, materials, certifications. Genuinely proprietary details stay off, but that's usually a much smaller set than shops assume.
