Everyone in Austin says I need to be on Instagram. Do I still need a website?+
Yes, and the two do different jobs. Instagram reaches people who already follow you or get served your content; it cannot capture the person searching "best sports physio near me" at eleven at night, and it doesn't rank in Google or the map pack. It's also rented ground — accounts get locked and reach gets throttled without warning. The pattern that works in Austin is a fast site you own doing the search and booking work, with Instagram feeding it.
Is Austin more competitive for SEO than it used to be?+
Considerably, and it's still uneven. Categories that serve the tech relocations — fitness, dining, home services, aesthetics — got much harder because national brands moved in. Categories that didn't are still remarkably winnable. We'd look at your actual competitors' sites before quoting, and if your category is already saturated we'll say so rather than sell you a retainer that won't move.
Should I target Austin, Round Rock and Cedar Park separately?+
If you serve them, yes. Round Rock has Dell and a large independent population that thinks of itself as Round Rock, not Austin, and Cedar Park and Leander are the same. They're separate cities with separate search volume, and an Austin page won't rank for them. That said — only build the pages for areas you'll genuinely travel to. Pages for places you don't serve generate leads you have to turn down and can read as doorway content.
We're a startup. Do you build MVPs or just marketing sites?+
Both, and they're quoted differently. Marketing sites are a published package. MVPs are scoped from a conversation about what actually needs to exist to test the hypothesis — and we'll argue for cutting features, because most MVP briefs we see would take a year and the point is to learn in eight weeks. You own the repository from the first commit.
Are you actually based in Austin?+
No — and we say so on the page rather than renting a virtual office address to imply otherwise. Our team is in Hyderabad and Warangal, India, and we work with Austin businesses remotely: video calls, WhatsApp, and a live preview link you can open at any point during the build. What is genuinely local is the work itself — your Google Business Profile, the Austin search terms we target, the competitors we benchmark you against, and the schema that tells Google exactly which area you serve.
How do I pay you from TX?+
Wire or ACH, Zelle, credit card through Stripe, PayPal or Wise — invoiced in USD, with a proper invoice for your accountant. Payment is milestone-based: 40% to begin, the remainder as you approve deliverables. There is no retainer and no minimum contract on the build work.
What are your hours compared to Austin?+
India runs 9.5 to 13.5 hours ahead depending on your time zone and the season, which works in your favour more than against it: work happens while you sleep, and you review it in the morning. Calls are scheduled for your evening, which is our morning. Anything urgent gets a WhatsApp reply the same day.
What if the project goes wrong?+
You own the code, the domain, the hosting account and every asset from the first day — not at handover, from the beginning. If you stop working with us, everything is already yours and there is nothing to extract. The price is agreed in writing before work starts. Websites start at $499.
