I've been burned by a web agency before. Why would this be different?+
Because the things that go wrong are structural, and we remove them upfront rather than promising better behaviour. The price is agreed in writing before work starts. You own the domain, hosting, repository and every asset from day one — not at handover — so if you walk away there's nothing to extract from us. Payment is milestone-based against deliverables you approve. And you can open real client sites we've built below and judge the work rather than the pitch.
Should I target Columbus or the suburbs?+
The suburbs you actually serve. Dublin, Westerville, New Albany and Grandview Heights have distinct identities, high incomes and their own search volume — residents there identify with their suburb, not with Columbus. Separate pages for the ones you cover will outperform one city page.
Is a fast website really a differentiator here?+
In Columbus, still yes — which surprises people. A large share of local sites are slow and poor on mobile, so page speed and Core Web Vitals genuinely move rankings and conversions here in a way they no longer do in markets where every competitor has already fixed it. That advantage has a shelf life, which is an argument for doing it now.
Does the Intel investment change anything for local businesses?+
Gradually, and mostly through the supply chain and the people. A semiconductor supply chain brings technical suppliers, contractors and services into Licking County and the eastern suburbs, plus a workforce with higher incomes and higher expectations. For local service businesses in New Albany and the east side, that's a growing customer base arriving without existing provider relationships.
Are you actually based in Columbus?+
No — and we say so on the page rather than renting a virtual office address to imply otherwise. Our team is in Hyderabad and Warangal, India, and we work with Columbus businesses remotely: video calls, WhatsApp, and a live preview link you can open at any point during the build. What is genuinely local is the work itself — your Google Business Profile, the Columbus search terms we target, the competitors we benchmark you against, and the schema that tells Google exactly which area you serve.
How do I pay you from OH?+
Wire or ACH, Zelle, credit card through Stripe, PayPal or Wise — invoiced in USD, with a proper invoice for your accountant. Payment is milestone-based: 40% to begin, the remainder as you approve deliverables. There is no retainer and no minimum contract on the build work.
What are your hours compared to Columbus?+
India runs 9.5 to 13.5 hours ahead depending on your time zone and the season, which works in your favour more than against it: work happens while you sleep, and you review it in the morning. Calls are scheduled for your evening, which is our morning. Anything urgent gets a WhatsApp reply the same day.
What if the project goes wrong?+
You own the code, the domain, the hosting account and every asset from the first day — not at handover, from the beginning. If you stop working with us, everything is already yours and there is nothing to extract. The price is agreed in writing before work starts. Websites start at $499.
