What restaurants actually struggle with

The problems we hear every week

Not generic small-business advice — the specific things costing you customers in this trade.

01

The delivery apps own your regulars

DoorDash and Uber Eats take a cut of every order and keep the customer's name, number and order history. A direct ordering page on your own site costs you card fees instead of commission — and the second order from that customer is pure margin.

02

Your menu is a PDF

A PDF menu can't be read by Google, pinches to nothing on a phone, and needs a designer every time you change a price. A menu built as real pages ranks for dish-level searches and your manager can update it from the floor.

03

You're invisible at 6:40pm on a Friday

Dinner is decided in the map pack, on a phone, in about ninety seconds. If your Google profile has no menu, three photos and last year's hours, you lose that table before your food is ever considered.

04

Nobody can book without calling

Your host is on the phone taking reservations during the exact hour they should be seating people. A booking or waitlist flow on the site converts the people who'd never have called at all.

05

Your photos are the deciding factor and they're from 2019

Food is bought with the eyes. Dark phone photos of a plate cost you more covers than a bad review does — and they're the cheapest thing on this list to fix.

06

Reels are the new menu

A kitchen pass, a pour, a knife through crust — short vertical video is how restaurants get discovered now. Most owners know this and still post nothing, because filming and cutting it weekly is a job nobody has time for.

What we build

What a restaurant site actually needs

Every one of these exists because it changes how many customers you get, not because it looks good in a proposal.

Direct online ordering

Pickup and delivery orders taken on your own site with Stripe or Square, straight to a tablet or your POS. No per-order commission.

A menu you control

Every dish as real, indexable content with photos, prices and dietary tags — editable by your staff without calling us.

Reservations & waitlist

Book a table on the site, or a waitlist that texts them when it's ready. Integrates with what you already run.

Google Business Profile, done properly

Menu, ordering link, correct hours including holidays, geotagged photos, and the review flow that keeps new ones coming in.

Food reels and ad creative

Short vertical video cut for Instagram, TikTok and Meta ads — the dish, the kitchen, the room.

Multi-location architecture

One brand site, a page per location, each with its own hours, menu variations and Google profile — so both locations rank instead of competing.

How your customers search

The searches that decide who gets the call

Restaurant search is almost entirely local, mobile and immediate. Your customer is standing up, hungry, deciding between you and two others. These are the shapes the searches take:

italian restaurants near mebest biryani in <city><restaurant name> menurestaurants open now near mebrunch near me with outdoor seating<cuisine> delivery <suburb>

Placeholders like <city> stand in for your actual location — the real pages we build target the specific terms your customers use where you are.

Why us

What you're actually buying

Not just the deliverable — the way the project runs.

A fraction of US agency rates

Same senior engineers, without the $150/hour Manhattan overhead. Fixed quotes in USD, agreed before we start.

We work your hours

Daily overlap with US Eastern, Central and Pacific. Calls at 9am your time, not 9am ours.

Fluent English, direct access

You talk to the people building it — no account manager relay, no translation gap.

NDA signed before you share anything

Send yours or use ours, signed same-day at no cost. Your idea, code and data stay yours.

Fixed price, in writing

A dated proposal with scope, milestones and the final number. No hourly meter, no surprise invoices.

You own everything, always

Code, designs, hosting, domains and logins handed over in full. Nothing is locked to us.

How it works

From enquiry to launch

You'll know the price and the timeline before you commit a dollar.

01

Free 30-minute call

Tell us what you need. We ask the questions that actually change the price, and tell you honestly if we're the wrong fit.

02

Fixed proposal in 24 hours

Scope, milestones, timeline and the exact USD number — in writing, before you pay anything.

03

NDA + 40% to start

We sign the NDA, take 40% upfront and assign your team. The rest is tied to milestones you approve.

04

Weekly demos, live preview link

A working link you can open any time, plus a weekly call. You see progress, not status reports.

05

Launch and full handover

We deploy, monitor, and hand over every login. Then we stick around — most clients stay on a retainer.

FAQ

Restaurants — your questions answered

How much does a restaurant website cost?+
A single-page site with your menu, hours and an ordering link is $169. A full restaurant site — multi-page menu, online ordering, reservations, gallery and location pages — is $499. If you need a proper ordering system with accounts, order history and delivery zones, that starts at $1,249. Fixed price, agreed in writing before we start.
Will direct ordering really beat DoorDash?+
Not for discovery — the apps are genuinely good at putting you in front of people who've never heard of you, and you should stay on them for that. Where you lose money is your regulars: someone who orders from you every week and goes through the app every time is costing you commission on a customer you already earned. Direct ordering is about moving repeat orders off the app, not replacing it.
Does it work with my POS — Toast, Square, Clover?+
Square and Clover integrate cleanly and we've done both. Toast is more restrictive about what outside sites can write into it, so depending on your plan we either integrate through their API or send orders to a tablet and printer instead. Tell us what you run on the first call and we'll tell you exactly which of those you're in.
Can my staff update the menu, or do I have to call you every time?+
Your staff. Prices change, dishes sell out, specials rotate — a menu you have to email an agency about is a menu that goes stale. You get a simple editor: change a price, mark something unavailable, add a special, done in under a minute from a phone.
Do you do the food photography and video?+
We produce the video. AI video and editing is one of our four services — $29 for a single finished reel, $199/month for twelve. For stills, the honest answer is that a local food photographer for a half-day will beat anything remote, and we'd rather tell you that than sell you something worse. Send us what you have and we'll grade, crop and cut it.
I have three locations. One site or three?+
One site, with a real page per location — its own address, hours, menu differences, photos and Google profile. Three separate sites split your authority and end up competing with each other in search. One site with strong location pages is how chains rank in every suburb they're in.
